P% = (Change / Original) × 100 Always divide by the original/initial value. In Profit, it's always CP.

S.I. = (P × R × T) / 100 Interest remains constant every year. Linear growth.

C.I. = P [ (1 + R/100)ⁿ - 1 ] Compound Interest: Use successive percent for 2-3 years for faster calculation.

Avg Speed = 2xy / (x + y) Used when distance is equal for two different speeds (x and y).

Advance Math Shortcuts

(a + b)² = a² + b² + 2ab Useful in Algebra for finding a² + b² given (a+b) and ab.

Circumference = 2πr | Area = πr² Remember π ≈ 22/7 or 3.14. Check if Diameter or Radius is given.

Tan(45°) = 1 | Sin(30°) = 1/2 Memorize the Standard Table. Trigonometry often relies on these ratios.

Number & Letter Series

Step-by-Step Approach: 1. Difference → 2. Double Difference → 3. Multiplier/Division → 4. Squares/Cubes +/- Constant.

Alphabet Logic: Use EJOTY (5, 10, 15, 20, 25) to find positions quickly. Cross-check reversed pairs (A-Z, B-Y).

Logical Structures

Blood Relations: Don't imagine your own family. Draw a family tree. Horizontal for siblings, Vertical for generations.

Syllogisms: Use Venn Diagrams. If "Some A are B" and "Some B are C", "Some A are C" is NOT necessarily true.

Coding-Decoding: Check for Shifting ( +2, -3 ), Reversal, or Mixed patterns.

Grammar Rules (High Yield)

Subject-Verb Agreement: "Either...or", "Neither...nor" → Verb follows the nearest subject.

Tense Consistency: Check if the sentence starts in Past Tense; it must stay in Past Tense unless a time-shift is mentioned.

Conditionals: If + Subject + Had + V3, then Subject + Would have + V3. (Past Unreal).

Verbal Ability Strategy

Cloze Test: Read the entire passage once. Identify the tone (Positive/Negative) before picking fillers.

Reading Comprehension: Read questions first, then skim the text for keywords to find answers faster.

Error Spotting: Sequence: 1. Tense → 2. S-V Agreement → 3. Prepositions → 4. Articles.
